Sam Dixon's Big Game Leads Delaware County Christian over Mercersburg Academy
Starting off the list is Delaware County Christian's Sam Dixon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dixon rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 195 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Mercersburg Academy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Dixon. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Dixon saw the Blue Storm), he rushed for 321 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 39 yards and a touchdown.

On the season, Hunter has averaged 7.2 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 9.67 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 50 receiving yards.

Pruessner Posts Huge Game in 50-14 Win
Another Delaware County Christian player making an appearance on this list is Ian Pruessner. He picked up 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 50 yards.
For the year, Pruessner has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 67.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after four games last season, he had three receiving touchdowns.
