Larchmont Charter has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Franklin Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
With a playoff game on the line, Larchmont Charter rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They strolled past the Monarchs with points to spare, taking the game 66-52.
Larchmont Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nicolas Ojeda led the charge by scoring 20 points. Cypress Williams was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Even though Franklin has not done well against Marshall recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Franklin came out on top against Marshall by a score of 71-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Larchmont Charter pushed their record up to 15-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Franklin, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-11.
