Saddleback Valley Christian have had to suffer through a 5-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their match against Duarte on Friday by a conclusive 26-0 score. The Saddleback Valley Christian offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the contest anyway.
The win bumped Saddleback Valley Christian's record up to 1-5. The defeat dropped Duarte's record to 1-4.
Saddleback Valley Christian will be staying on the road next week, facing off against The Webb Schools. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune. As for Duarte, they will face off against Sierra Vista. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
