The Evansville Harrison Warriors will face off against the Evansville North Huskies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Evansville Harrison is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
Last Friday, Evansville Harrison strolled past North Central with points to spare, taking the game 67-48. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 318th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Evansville North came up short against Terre Haute North Vigo on Friday and fell 62-53. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.
Evansville Harrison will have to contain Bryson Chapman as he made an impact in Evansville North's last game. He shot 55% from the field to rack up 29 points and eight rebounds. That was a full 54.7% of Evansville North's points, marking the fourth time in a row Chapman has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lance Smith, who had seven points.
Evansville Harrison's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Evansville North, they now have a losing record of 11-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Evansville Harrison has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 28.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Evansville North struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.2 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Evansville Harrison beat Evansville North 70-61 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Evansville Harrison repeat their success, or does Evansville North have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
