After flying high against the Wilder Wildcats last Tuesday, the Riverstone International Otters came back down to earth. Riverstone International was beaten by the Vipers 54-26 on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Riverstone International has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Riverstone International had strong showings from Ethan Ebbers, who scored eight points along with six rebounds, and Jason Koval, who scored 12 points.
Riverstone International's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Victory Charter, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverstone International will take on the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial Baptist has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1. As for Victory Charter, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
