After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hempfield Area, Canon-McMillan was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Trinity Hillers. The win was some much needed relief for the Big Macs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Canon-McMillan got a massive performance out of Harley Tournay, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Tournay also launched a home run, marking her first of the season. Aurora Shirdon was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Canon-McMillan lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
