Kerwin Squire Jr. Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Stratford was led to victory by Kerwin Squire Jr., who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Squire Jr. rushed for 191 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (108.3) per game.
Stratford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Squire Jr. and Stratford will face off against Cane Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lucy Beckham had to settle for second on Friday, but Chalmers Ballard sure wasn't going down easily. Ballard was dynamite, rushing for 85 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 283 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Lucy Beckham is 3-1 when Ballard posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
This year, Ballard has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 173.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to nine.

Jachin Davis' Big Game Leads Stratford over Lucy Beckham
The second Stratford player making an appearance here is Jachin Davis, and for good reason. He rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 261 yards while completing 75% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
For the year, Davis has averaged 182.4 passing yards per game.

Stone Came Up Big in Wando's 28-21 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Harris Stone stepped things up a notch to give Wando the 'W'. Cane Bay had no answer to Stone as he threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 48 yards.
This year, Stone has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 172.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 8.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 35 rushing yards.

Michael Jenkins put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He made three total tackles.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch
