The Turlock Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Sheldon Huskies with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Turlock claimed a resounding 57-14 victory over Sheldon at home. Considering Turlock has won five games by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Turlock had a senior duo take command as Jeremiah Bertalotto gained 188 total yards and two touchdowns and Vincent Gonzales threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes.
Sheldon's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brandon Acker, who picked up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Zayden Learson who gained 106 total yards and a touchdown.
Turlock's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-5. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 48 points. As for Sheldon, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Turlock will take on Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Ridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Turlock in California (Oak Ridge is ranked 30th, while Turlock is ranked 133rd). Sheldon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
