The Williston Red Devils are taking a road trip to  challenge the Chiefland Indians  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Williston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3  runs per game  this season.
Williston will head out to face Chiefland after giving up their first home loss of the  season on Tuesday. Williston fell  8-4 to Branford.

  Baylee Cribbs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole  Four bases. while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayla Coleman, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Chiefland). They were the clear victor by  an  11-1 margin over Dixie County on Tuesday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
Chiefland got a  massive  performance out of  Aubrey Weatherford, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Weatherford also  brought in two  RBI, marking her first of the season.  Klaire Mullis was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing  Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
 Chiefland  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .581. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 The  victory  got Chiefland back to even at 3-3. As for Williston, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
 Williston was able to grind out a solid  win over Chiefland in their previous matchup  two weeks ago, winning  3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Williston since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
