In what's become a running theme this season, the Classical Prep Lions gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They blew past Central, posting a 49-5 victory at home. The victory was just what Classical Prep needed coming off of a 53-25 loss in their prior match.
Leading Classical Prep to victory were Kaelyn Malloy and Mia Milanes. Malloy dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, while Milanes dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Malloy has scored at least a third of Classical Prep's points.
Classical Prep's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-21.
Classical Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Academy at the Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Academy at the Lakes will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Classical Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Citrus at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central is coming into the contest with 13 straight defeats at home, meaning Citrus will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
