On Saturday, Interboro came up short against Boyertown and fell 65-53.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boyertown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trey Kern, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. Ryan Thompson was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five assists.
Interboro has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Boyertown, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Interboro will take on Ridley at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Ridley and Interboro are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Boyertown, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Owen J. Roberts at 6:45 p.m. on January 16th. Owen J. Roberts is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
