Basketball Recap: Jillian Topping Key Part of a Team Effort in Falcons Win

Timber Creek won the last time they faced Bell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Timber Creek Falcons came out on top against the Bell Blue Raiders by a score of 39-28. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Timber Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jillian Topping, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 15 points. Topping has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Selah Armstrachan, who posted eight points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Bell still got an impressive performance from Madi Capers, who went 7 of 10 on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds. Chanelle Davis was another key player, putting up four points.

Timber Creek is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Bell, they dropped their record down to 14-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
