After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, North River Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They snuck past the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles with a 58-52 win on Tuesday. The Chargers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Weston Knott, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Tatum, who had 12 points.

North River Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North River Christian will challenge Tuscaloosa Home Educators at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will take on Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
