Snohomish simply couldn't be stopped on Friday, as they easily beat Lynnwood 62-7. Followers of Snohomish probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
The Snohomish offense pulled no punches in the first half and blazed their way to 49 points. Lynnwood wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 49-7 heading into the break. The Snohomish defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The victory was the 5th in a row for Snohomish, as they raised their record to 5-2. Lynnwood are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Snohomish take on Meadowdale at 8:00 PM. Lynnwood will be playing at home against Shorecrest at at 7:00 PM.
