Despite the loss, North Judson-San Pierre still got an impressive performance from Kyleigh Lehiy, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cailyn Tunis, who scored 17 points along with five steals.
North Miami's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laney Musall, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Musall has scored at least a third of North Miami's points. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Hanley, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
North Judson-San Pierre has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for North Miami, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.
North Judson-San Pierre will be playing in front of their home fans against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Miami, they will head out on the road to challenge Oak Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
