Tristan Parks Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Thursday, Hampton got the W thanks in part to Tristan Parks playing the best football he has all season. Parks threw for 380 yards and five touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes.
The victory (which was Hampton's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Parks and Hampton will challenge Ola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Cayden Hutson's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
On Thursday, Ola got the W thanks in part to Cayden Hutson playing the best football he has all season. Hutson rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Ola pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Hampton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Ola was led to victory by Caden Worley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Worley threw for 176 yards and a touchdown on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 55 yards on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the year, Worley has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 99.4 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 8.13 passing yards per game.

Mark Howard Goes Supernova in Woodland Loss
Rounding off our Top Five is Mark Howard of Woodland. Howard rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards.
Woodland dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Howard will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against McDonough on Friday.
