Candlelight Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rah'Quez Shepard, who scored 25 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Shepard has scored at least 25% of Candlelight Christian Academy's points. Shaddai Rubert was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Ridge Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Candlelight Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Ridge Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Hillsborough Baptist at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Candlelight Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Web of Wisdom at 5:30 p.m.
