 In other batting news,  Jack Ponte was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April.  PJ Colla was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Brookfield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .645. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Brookfield's victory was  their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Abbott RVT, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-8.
