 Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Clark, they pushed their record up to 9-7-1 with that  win, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Stevens came up short against Clark when the teams last played  back in March of 2023, falling  5-0. Thankfully for Stevens,  Ava Hetrick (who   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched) won't be suiting up this time.
