Basketball Recap: Westfield Has No Trouble Against Wakefield

Westfield lost to Wakefield back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Westfield Bulldogs put the hurt on the Wakefield Warriors with a sharp 64-42 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Westfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Wakefield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Westfield and Friendly will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Wakefield, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on George C. Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
