The Whitefish Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 69-59 victory over Lincoln County. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Lincoln County still got an impressive performance from Caden Vaughn, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Parker Bates was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Whitefish's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lincoln County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitefish will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Browning at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024. As for Lincoln County, they will head out on the road to face off against Superior at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
