Kamario Taylor Delivers Electric Performance Vs Enterprise
Starting off the list is Noxubee County's Kamario Taylor, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Taylor threw for 207 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Noxubee County, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Taylor and Noxubee County will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kemper County Gets a Boost from Yates in 40-22 Victory
Damarius Yates continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least two rushing touchdowns. He rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Philadelphia's probably not too fond of Yates given he always seems to get the better of them. When Yates last faced the Tornadoes back in October of 2023, he rushed for 290 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries.

Kendetryon Backstrom Makes It Two for Kemper County
Keeping Yates company is Kendetryon Backstrom, a fellow Kemper County player. He threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Backstrom is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Enterprise on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Backstrom saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 158 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.
