Matthew Sidney put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 31 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of James Jones, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Graham's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Southeast Alamance 81-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Graham has suffered since December 12, 2023.
Despite the loss, Graham saw an underclassman step up: Micah Woods scored 29 points. That was a full 64.4% of Graham's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jaylan Sinclair, who scored ten points.
Bartlett Yancey's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Graham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.
Bartlett Yancey strolled past Graham in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 69-50. Will Bartlett Yancey repeat their success, or does Graham have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
