Basketball Recap: Pope Francis Prep Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pope Francis Prep can now relate to. They were dealt an 88-60 defeat at the hands of the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since January 18th.

Somerset Berkley Regional's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colten Pacheco, who went 10-for-18 en route to 29 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. With that strong performance, Pacheco is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Finnian Bjork, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards.
