Baker put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 60-50 victory over the L.E.A.D. Academy Lions. Those 60 points were actually the fewest the Gators have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Baker's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Bethel, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave Bethel a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Peyton Ellis, who shot 88% from the field to rack up 17 points.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrew Holcomb, who went 6-for-13 en route to 13 points and five steals. Ta'Navion Richardson was another key player, shooting 46% from the field on his way to 15 points and seven boards.

Baker's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Baker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-57 win against Jay on the 4th. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-46 defeat against Rocky Bayou Christian on the 5th.
