The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pasadena, who took down 487th ranked Pasadena, 17-14. kyle Tavizon ran for 11 yards and caught four passes for 83 yards in the win.
Muir was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Pacific. The Mustangs defeated Hoover 63-0 earlier in the week.
Joe Torres put up the best numbers through the air as Crescenta Valley beat the Bulldogs. He had a total of 10 completions for 134 yards.
James Williams was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 16 carries, he ran for 193 yards as Burbank defeated Pasadena. Teddy Arlington also contributed to the rushing game with 159 yards on the ground.
5-foot-10 quarterback Zachary Lee of Arcadia is the league leader in passing yards this season with 500. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. On the ground, Crescenta Valley's William Wang has rushed for 592 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jack Lutynski. The Crescenta Valley star has 20 catches for 261 yards.
A big matchup in Pacific this week will be when Randy Horton's team takes on the Bulldogs. At the moment, the Bulldogs are in fifth, while Burbank is in second.
Hector Valencia's team moved up to 448 from 546 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bulldogs were able to make the jump by beating the Apaches 41-20.
