Grove Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They fell  8-3 to Faith Baptist.
  Carter Haithcock made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jesse Winterhalter, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Grove Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Faith Baptist, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Coming up, Grove Christian School will head out to  square off against The Carmel School  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Faith Baptist, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Blue Ridge at 5:00  p.m.  on  the 24th.
