The Memphis Cyclones can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Shamrock 56-30. Memphis has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.
Memphis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eli Martin out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Robison, who scored 16 points.
Memphis' win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Shamrock, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Memphis will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Quanah at 8:00 p.m. As for Shamrock, they will head out on the road to square off against Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Wellington's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Shamrock has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
