Jefferson has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Colorado (Jefferson is ranked 316th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 312th).
Jefferson scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Englewood with points to spare, taking the game 75-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Bruce Randolph pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 88-62 walloping at the hands of Lake County. Bruce Randolph has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Jefferson's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14. As for Bruce Randolph, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Jefferson against the Grizzlies in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 96-68 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jefferson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
