Stegall was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, Caiden Farmer and Jake Allen stepped up to the plate in a big way. Farmer scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Allen went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits Allen has posted since back in April of 2024. Ethan Parker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Calhoun Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Regents, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.
