Juniata Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jett Rand, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The game was Rand's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Deihl, who scored 20 points.
Moshannon Valley bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Juniata Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Moshannon Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Curwensville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Juniata Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Williamsburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Williamsburg is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
