Baseball Recap: MAST Community Charter Gets the Win

MAST Community Charter posted their closest win since May 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Collegium Charter Cougar 7-5. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cougar recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Nicholas Carsley made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Carsley was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing three bases.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Haldeman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was David Kondravy, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

The victory got MAST Community Charter back to even at 5-5. As for Collegium Charter, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
