Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lincolnwood beat the Rams 36-32. The victory was just what Lincolnwood needed coming off of a 52-25 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-27, which was the final score in Illini Central/Greenview's tilt against the Bluejays on Thursday. Illini Central/Greenview has struggled against the Bluejays recently, as their match on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Lincolnwood's win bumped their record up to 9-19. As for Illini Central/Greenview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season.
Lincolnwood was taken down by the 66-21 in their previous matchup back in March of 2021. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lincolnwood was down 45-15.
