Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Myrtle Hawks, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell to West Lowndes 19-13. Myrtle's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Myrtle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for West Lowndes, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.
Myrtle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Lowndes is on the road again on Friday and play against Potts Camp at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Potts Camp will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
