Marshall fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Bravo on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 12-11. Even though they lost, the Barristers' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Gianna Saucedo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 5-for-6 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Guerrero, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
Marshall is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. As for Bravo, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
