The White House-Heritage Patriots were the 60-32 winner over the Liberty Creek Wolves when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. White House-Heritage fell 49-42 to Liberty Creek on Friday.
Despite the loss, White House-Heritage saw an underclassman step up: Avery Coles dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Coles scored a full 28.6% of White House-Heritage's points, the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Pryce Payne, who scored three points.
White House-Heritage's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Liberty Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White House-Heritage will take on Harpeth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty Creek, they will be playing at home against Westmoreland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
