Edison Private has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the LaProgresiva Presbyterian Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Two weeks ago, Edison Private had to suffer through a rough 69-35 loss at the hands of Sheridan Hills Christian. Edison Private has struggled against Sheridan Hills Christian recently, as their game two weeks ago was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, LaProgresiva Presbyterian beat Varsity Opponent 45-40 on Thursday. The win was just what LaProgresiva Presbyterian needed coming off of a 55-30 defeat in their prior contest.
LaProgresiva Presbyterian found their leader in underclassman Lazaro Echevarria, who scored 16 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Echevarria has scored at least 25% of LaProgresiva Presbyterian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Pineda, who scored 9 points.
Edison Private's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for LaProgresiva Presbyterian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Edison Private didn't have too much breathing room in their game against LaProgresiva Presbyterian in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, but they still walked away with a 44-38 win.
