Bentworth was led to victory by Ben Hays, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hays rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards.

Johnny Gilbert produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Jefferson-Morgan to the win on Friday. Gilbert rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards.
The win for Jefferson-Morgan keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Gilbert and Jefferson-Morgan will venture away from home to take on California at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
