DeKalb County was sadly handed a loss on Tuesday, but Kora Kilgore did her best to prevent it. Kilgore wasn't messing around, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. The pitching appearance was her ninth straight with nine or more strikeouts.
