Meanwhile, Wawasee waltzed into Tuesday's game with four straight wins but they left with five. They were the clear victor by a 54-32 margin over West Noble. The result was nothing new for Wawasee, who have now won three contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Wawasee got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaydence Shepherd out in front who scored 17 points along with 8 steals and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Olivia Horn, who scored 14 points.
The losses dropped Elkhart Christian Academy to 3-4 and Victory Christian Academy to 1-2.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Elkhart Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.7 rebounds per game.
