The Bishop Fenwick Crusaders can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They strolled past Danvers with points to spare, taking the game 69-52. This was payback for Bishop Fenwick, who suffered a 62-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Metivier, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Logan Metivier was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
The victory got Bishop Fenwick back to even at 3-3. As for Danvers, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Bishop Fenwick will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Stang at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Danvers, they will head out on the road to face off against Swampscott at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
