Meanwhile, Faith Christian came up short against Harmony on Friday and fell 48-35. The Lions were down 40-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Merritt Island's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Faith Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.
