Taft's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Arvin, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taft will challenge Cabrillo at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. After each having a week off, Arvin and West will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th. The Bears' defense better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 34.8 points per game this season.
