It was a good run, but the Cooperstown Hawkeyes unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were dealt a 72-39 defeat at the hands of Poland. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cooperstown has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Cooperstown had strong showings from Cooper Bradley, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, and Charlie Lambert, who scored ten points along with four steals. Bradley hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 15 straight games. Another player making a difference was Cooper Coleman, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Cooperstown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Poland, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Cooperstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poland, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Cincinnatus Central at 1:00 p.m. on February 10th.
