Combs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamren Dubose, who scored 19 points along with six assists and two steals. Dubose is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Logan Tuckfield was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Eastmark lost, one person who can't be blamed is Timothy Gorham. Despite the final result, he scored 26 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That was a full 46.4% of Eastmark's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Burns, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Combs' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Eastmark, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.
