The Klein Collins Tigers waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 21 straight wins but they left with 22. They claimed a resounding 64-30 win over Klein Cain at home. Klein Collins has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 matches by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Klein Collins to victory, but perhaps none more so than A'niyah Harmon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten steals. Harmon has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Christin Callens, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Klein Collins' win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Klein Cain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season.
Klein Collins will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Tomball will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Tigers are ranked 54th). As for Klein Cain, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waller has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 29.
