It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Mars Hill Bible Panthers can now relate to. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison Academy on Friday.
Kenyon Cherry was his usual excellent self, rushing for 231 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. Cherry is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Williams, who rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Mars Hill Bible's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Madison Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Mars Hill Bible does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Madison Academy will take on Sylvania at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sylvania is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
