Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Jserra Catholic's Third in Last Four Outings

If Aliso Niguel wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played JSerra Catholic, they should've done a better job of containing Madison Goodrich. The Lions put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday for which the team can thank Goodrich, who had 17 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

JSerra Catholic not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Aliso Niguel between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-16.

JSerra Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Aliso Niguel, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
