Middle College was out to avenge their 20-24 loss to Freedom Prep Academy from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Middle College found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 16-41 punch to the gut against Freedom Prep Academy on Thursday. The state rankings had actually given Middle College a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The defeat dropped Middle College's record to 1-2. The win bumped Freedom Prep Academy's record up to 1-2.
Middle College have some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next game, which is against KIPP Collegiate at at Booker T Washington at 7:00 PM in two weeks. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they will face off against Lake County.
