The Tucker Tigers waltzed into their contest on Saturday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They blew past Chamblee 79-53. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-25.
Chamblee's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eston McDow, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Mccord, who scored eight points.
Tucker's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.4 points per game. As for Chamblee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tucker will take on Arabia Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arabia Mountain has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 347 points over their last five contests. As for Chamblee, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Decatur at 7:30 p.m. Decatur presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chamblee in Georgia (Decatur is ranked 55th, while Chamblee is ranked 318th).
